Ok, so this isn't your usual Frequently Asked Questions page. We thought we'd skip the questions and just explain all of our features.
BeatleLinks contains hundreds and hundreds of categorized links to Beatles-related web sites from all across the universe. We strive to be your first stop in the wired Beatles world. But there's much more to our site than just links. Read on for a complete description of all of these features.
On our Links Database home page, you'll find all of our links organized into categories. Clicking on any category will show you the corresponding links, 10 at a time. The links are listed alphabetically, with New Sites and Cool Sites (see below) shown first. You can also quickly get to any category page by using the category jump box on the right.
The next several features are called the Main Links of our site, and links to them can be found at the top of every page.
Clicking on New Sites will let you browse through any sites in our database that have been added within the last week.
Cool Sites are those sites that rank in the top 3%, with the ranking strictly based on hits.
The Top Rated section displays two rankings of sites based on both actual user ratings and number of reviews. If you'd like to rate and review a site in our database, just click on the "Rate/Review It!" image associated with each site. You'll find this image when browsing through categories or search results.
On our Fab Forum, you can discuss anything and everything about The Beatles with fans from all over the world. Talk about their songs or movies, share current news, trade bootlegs, and much more. Registering is easy, free, and takes only a minute. Our forum also contains a Beatles History archive and an Interviews Database. You may also participate in our Monthly Contest, where you can answer Beatles trivia questions for a chance to win a free CD.
If you've got a Beatles-related web site of your own (or you find a site that we haven't found yet!), don't hesitate to submit it to our database by clicking on Add A Site. Once your site is approved and listed, you may change the URL, description, and other information by clicking on Modify A Site.
If you'd like to place a link to our site on your own web site, go to our Link To Us page for instructions on how to add a text, banner, or search box link to your pages.
On our New Products page, you'll find convenient shopping links for the newest Beatles-related CDs, DVDs, books, and other releases.
Links to the next several features can be found on the right side of every page.
Our search engine is very useful if you know exactly what you're looking for. For example, searching for "discography" will get you too many results, while "rubber soul" results in only a few links. You can also perform an Advanced Search to narrow down the results even further.
BeatleMail is a free e-mail service that contains all of the features of any other internet e-mail program such as Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail. Send messages to your friends as "lennon@beatlemail.com" or "thebeatles@beatlemail.com." You can sign up or log-in on all of our pages.
Clicking on Random Site will give you just that - a site picked at random from our database.
Join our Banner Exchange program and get your banner displayed on the Links Database home page of BeatleLinks. This is a great way to drive tons of traffic to your own Beatles web site. You can also Advertise your site or product for even more publicity.
