Moderator??

Is Serena still the Moderator for this section? It says her last activity was May 2013...

What can I say? It's a dying forum, D. Else one would think mods that haven't been here for years would be removed. Then again, when the owner of the board hasn't posted since last year...

My guess is too much strife taking its toll. Some people being unwilling to accept others point of view or personality or lack of tact or whatever and driving those away that didn't fit their notion of the correct. As if everyone on a forum must be your best friend and agree with you on everything. It's not so. All we have to share is one interest and allow for other points of view.

So anyway, eventually all the 'undesirables' were driven away, at which point the instigators decided this place is no fun any more and left as well. Leaving behind us never say die that has the place limping along on life support.

I understand. I'd had my fair share of run-ins with the almighty's and it sucked. It's why I left for a long time and I still don't even check very often, but when I have had a question, this was always my 'go to' site.. I rarely get replies anymore except for you. I applaud your loyalty to the site.

A lot of the mods, past and present and generally never post here anymore helped kill this site by crushing any humour or discussion that was even slightly risky. Such a shame.

Controversy isn't necessarily a bad thing. I've noticed over the year that when the discussion heated up, forum activity went up as well. Not allowing personal attacks is one thing, else tolerance should be the watchword - on all sides.
