Hard to imagine our George would be 70. He'd be the most handsome 70 year old ever known.

This morning my mom told me "George would be 70 today, right?" and my answer was "No mom, George IS 70 today"

70 years... it's a time to send him love and gratitude, and to celebrate all that made George so unique. As ever, his invaluable music will be playing and brightening the world the way only he could.

According to a presenter on BBC Radio 2 last night, George was actually born very late on 24th February but by the time the midwife got round to writing the details of his birth down, it had passed midnight so she put down the 25th.
Apparently George found out about this quite late in life.
Anyway, as a tribute to George last night, the DJ played "When I'm Cleaning Windows" by George Formby.

Such beautiful pictures of a genuinely beautiful man. The beauty of Louise French lives on in her tall, fine son.
Three score and ten years ago, Louise delivered her last little Harrison, a large 10 pound, 1'8" son we all love. 'Twas love that created George and George literally was surrounded by love his entire life. And we love him.

Well said. George, as we know was all about love. He was created by love; born into and surrounded by love his entire life. And we love George. That was the French legacy and George's legacy as well. Louise French was all about love and no doubt her little Harrisons were as well. We know George was.  |
