The Beatles: The Lost Concert
A New Documentary Including Their 1st U.S. Concert – Complete and Remastered!

http://www.lostbeatlesconcert.com/

The Beatles: The Lost Concert is a new documentary recounting the whole story of the birth of Beatlemania in America. From an initial phone call from US promoter Sid Bernstein to the manager of a then-unknown band from the UK, all the way thorough to their first-ever historic and triumphant U.S. concert at the Washington, D.C. Coliseum. Through rare archival footage and new interviews with some of the people who were there, and chock full of memorabilia, archival footage and artifacts it details how The Beatles were first brought to America, their struggle to get a U.S. record contract and airplay, how their first concert was booked and all the incredible events of that historic day in February when the Fab Four took a train from New York to Washington, D.C. to perform a full concert in front of an American audience for the first time.
The whole story unfolds through new interviews with celebrities, historically important figures, journalists, DJs, photographers, historians, and fans who attended the original 1964 concert - plus historic archival footage.
The Beatles: the Lost Concert features the group’s first-ever concert in America, performed at the Washington Coliseum in Washington, D.C. Filmed in 1964 expressly for the big screen, concert footage was ‘lost’ and remained unseen in theaters for over 47 years. More than a concert film, Lost Concert tells the story of how The Beatles first came to the U.S., through original interviews, historical footage, unpublished photos and rare artifacts. The documentary features new interviews with celebrities such as Chuck Berry, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and The Strokes, as well as commentaries by journalists, historians, and fans who attended the original 1964 concert. The Beatles is the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed group in the history of popular music, having sold over 1.3 billion discs and tapes.

I just checked and the local theater near me will be showing it, so I gotta save for popcorn.

This is so cool. I'm glad they still release shows like this in theaters (Unfortunately not at a theater near me!)
I went to the website but I didn't see the trailer posted there though.
