I slowly chipped away, and I've gotten all of the stereo remasters except for Yellow Submarine. I never had it to begin with, though. BAD Beatles fan, I know.

My original albums that I bought for $1.99 each will always be my favorites.

I slowly got all of them since 09-09-09. Amazon was the way to go, since I had gift cards and amazon is cheapest anyway. The albums are great! Great info in the booklets.

All of the stereo remasters. Bought the White Album and Revolver on 9/9/09 and slowly acquired the other ones. Just got the Red Album about a month ago and the Blue Album last week.
Waiting for enough money to get the mono set (or for Christmas/birthday...only in my dreams)

None, a con in my opinion. Nothing wrong with the original CD's. Music is music.

I have all of the remastered stereo CDs as separates. I was gifted the Mono Box about a year and a half ago. Of the Stereo 180 gram vinyl issues I bought Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, White Album, Abbey Road, and Past Masters. I'm debating about getting copies of Please Please Me and With The Beatles, those LPs sound better in mono.

I wouldn't say there's nothing wrong w the CD's. But I will say that the original albums sound every bit as fantastic as the remasters. All the years of remastering and re-releasing, all that we really needed was better audio equipment to play them on. It's nice to hear the new remasters on 180 gram virgin vinyl. But aside from the 40-50 yrs of wear, the original pressings are sonically every bit as good.

The 1980's CD's, however, are a step back. If you're clinging to the digital format, the new remasters are worth every penny.
