Default Which Remastered Albums do you own?

I have Magical Mystery Tour + Revolver. I also bought my sister Rubber Soul, and she already has The White Album.

I have them all... mono and stereo... because I'm cool like that (???). Actually, I think it speaks more to my pathological obsession with the group than anything else... and the fact that I need to get a job to start supporting my "habit"... *sigh*

LennonStarrFan, what's your favourite so far? I love the White Album in mono!

Revolver is my fav. I really wanna buy Help! because I love the songs, and it will match my Help movie DVD.

Everything Stereo/Mono. It's absolutely money well spent; September 9th, 2009 was a long time coming in my mind. So long overdue in so many ways.

Dream releases come true.

I have everything, and very much enjoy doing comparative listenings and just letting all the great music wash over me.

Ooh... Revolver is probably one of my fave albums too... gah! I don't think I can pick a favourite! It's like choosing between children... if all your children are brilliant innovations created from beautifully lyrical songs written by creative geniuses on the cutting edge of all things musical, that is.

Slighty OT, but on the discussion of the Remasters...
At first I didn't no the difference between the remastered and originals. But I read reviews, and most have said there's more clarity on the individual instruments, specifically the drums and bass. I compared the originals to the remastered and I have to agree. I also how the drums especially as more clear in the remasters because it shows the subtleties in Ringo's drum fills. He was a master of subtlety IMO. Being flashy and technical doesn't always define a great drummer.

Stereo and Mono sets with a new addition today. The 9/9/9 sampler that Apple/EMI/Capitol gave to retail stores to promote the remasters. Main attraction here is the clean fade out on Back In the U.S.S.R.

Nice addition biglou!

I have the stereo and mono sets and I'm very glad I spent the cash on both. Well worth it in both cases. My Beatles collection would not ever be right without them both.

Edit: WOOHOO! I just realized that this is post #300 for me! I truly am a Day Tripper! Sorry, I just had to celebrate... now back to our regularly scheduled programming already in progress...

I tracked one down too, the 9/9/09 sampler that is. I've always been way into samplers back to my younger days when I worked in a record store. There's something really cool about them, especially where the Beatles are involved. I still have my Anthology 2 & 3 samplers and that was nearly 15 years ago.

However, with the 9/9/09 sampler, I'm glad I didn't get impulsive and waited.. prices on Ebay came down after a few weeks, post release day. :)

Well I currently work in retail, so it actually didn't cost me a dime extra.
