Ringo will be on Larry King Live on Monday, July 7 (ironically on his birthday!)

I loved how Ringo scolded Larry for continuing to mention his age. I don't remember the exact quote but it was something like "for Christ's sake Larry, how old are you a hundred and ...? It was great.

Yoko called in to wish Ringo a Happy B-day and even sang it to him. Ringo did seem surprised and was obviously happy she called in.

I thought that was the best part, when Yoko called and sang Ringo

I did feel Ringo was a tad rude to Larry in re his age, but Larry gave a good response.

It was great seeing Ringo on tv. Larry is such an awkward interviewer though. Anybody else agree?

Post Yes, Larry King is a terrible host, but...

I enjoyed the interview. Didn't Ringo seem genuinely surprised to hear that Yoko called to wish him a happy birthday? He also received birthday greetings from Christina Aguilera (which was strange, but Ringo seemed pleased to hear from her), Brooke White (another singer), and the Cirque du Soleil group. Ringo praised the "Love" show but only responded directly to Aguilera's message, wishing her "peace and love". Later in the program Ringo expressed admiration for Amy Winehouse's music. He flashed the peace sign a few times during the interview (at this point he probably even does it in his sleep :p), but seemed mildly irritated that Larry King kept bringing up his age. (In the video which I've linked to below, Access Hollywood host Billy Bush claims that King mentioned it 12 times during the interview!) Larry King is lucky that the interview took place via satellite because the "peace" hand gesture very easily becomes a dangerous weapon (as you can see in any episode of the Three Stooges). *doink*

A video of that delightfully awkward moment: http://showhype.com/video/ringo_star...entioning_his/

I checked YouTube, but so far it seems that no one has posted a video of the entire interview. You can, however, read the transcript of the interview on Larry King's official website.
