I really like this video. I recorded it off of VH-1 back in 1999 when the "Yellow Submarine" movie was re-released. They had a special, behind the scenes look at the making of the movie and how it was restored and this video was shown at the end. Unfortunately, I did not save the behind the scenes stuff. But I do still have the video and have it put safely away on my "Beatles" tape.

Default Hey Bulldog Video

I just downloaded this video and it's great.
I've never seen this footage before.
Has anyone else seen it?

Itīs the same footage used to illustrate the Lady Madonna single on The Beatles Antholgy, although it's them recording Hey Bulldog.

I also downloaded it, some months ago, thinking I was downloading Georgeīs Horse To The Water, wich was the name of the file.

I've seen that video many times. As the Lady Madonna vid, and I saw it once as the actual Hey Bulldog footage.

In fact all of you know the true... this footage was on a VH1 special and the Lady Madonna footage are not really of Lady Madonna, check out the recording sessions...

In fact, that lady madonna video have a lot of parts of the Hey Bulldog and mouth of Lennon and Macca sings "hey bulldog" if you notice...

The question is... who the heck have the idea of using this footage and not another one... Hey bulldog is cool, but that lady madonna video suck, and the "come together" video too!

If some guy make a video, please do it good...!

Cheers!

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">What happened was this: it was time for "Lady Madonna" to be released as a single. The Beatles decided to film one at Abbey Road, but instead of miming the single, they decided to make the most of the studio time and record Johns new track, Bulldog.
It wasnt until years later they found the basic footage and realised it could be used to promote the Yellow Sub DVD, and that the band was recording "Hey Bulldog" during filming.(HOW they supposedly never knew this, who knows). Its premiere was on ABCs "20/20". And oddly, there was talking over the video there.ABC actually sold the tape of the program for a few days before Apple made them pull it, not wanting to sell it! And this was advertised at the time as being the ONLY time it would be shown. Glad it WAS used elsewhere though. And just for the record...there are two slightly different edits of the Lady Madonna video, each with slightly different clips here and there.
