Performance by The Eddie Clayton Skiffle Group at Wilson Hall in Garston, Liverpool. Richard Starkey is on drums. This is reported to be the earliest known photograph of any Beatles-related performance.

1960
Concert at the Dalrymple Hall, Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire.

1963
Concert at Odeon Cinema, Angel Row, Nottingham (3rd British tour).

1964

The Beatles' Second Album number 1, 4th week (US Billboard).


"Love Me Do" number 1 (US Cashbox).

"Can't Buy Me Love"/"You Can't Do That" number 1, 3rd week (Australia Kent Music Report).

Ella Fitzgerald became the first artist to have a hit with a Beatles cover when "Can't Buy Me Love" entered the UK chart.

1968
British producer/director Tony Palmer begins filming the documentary "All My Loving".

1969
Argentina LP release: Submarino Amarillo (Apple 34-6005).

1970
"Instant Karma" number 1, 3rd week (French Singles & Airplay Chart Reviews).

Johnny Moran interviews each Beatle separately to get their views of the group's future.

In the US, Let It Be has advance orders of 3.7 million copies, the largest initial sales for any album in the American record industry.

Paul and Wings perform at Edinburgh Odeon.

1974
George launches his own record label Dark Horse Records.

At the Baynard Gallery, the exhibition of Linda's photograghs continues. It runs until June 1st.

Paul gives another interview, to promote McCartney II, on Capitol Radio for the program "Mummy's Weekly, hosted by Nucky Horne.

1981
Starsound's Stars on 45 started a five week run at No.1 on the UK album chart. The album featured a vast medley of Beatles songs.

1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.

1987
"Let It Be" by Ferry Aid number 1 (Italian Hit Parade Singles Chart).

1993
Paul's concert at the HHH Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota ("New World Tour").

1997
Ringo's concert at Billy Bob's, Ft. Worth, Texas.

1999
Paul's art exhibition at the Kunstforum Lyz in Hamburg with 75 of his 500 private paintings.

2007
"The Beatles! Backstage and Behind-the-Scenes Photo Exhibit" at The Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, Michigan.

2013
Paul performs in concert at Frank Erwin Center, Austin, TX (Out There World Tour).

James McCartney performs in concert at World Cafe Live At The Queen, Wilmington, DE (US Tour ).
