Article on the newspaper "Palladium" of Richmond, Indiana: "Beatles Will Slip In Couple Of Years Manager Says During Stopover In City". Seemingly someone posed as Brian and gave this false news.

NEMS Enterprises, of the UK, and Nemperor Artists, of the USA, sign a 3-year agreement allowing for each company to exclusively represent the other in their respective territories.

Australian LP release: A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (Parlophone PMCO 7016 {mono} & Parlophone PCSO 7016 {stereo}).

1969

Ringo boards the "Queen Elizabeth II" to sail to the United States for the filming of The Magic Christian. The trip is paid for by Commonwealth United, the backers of the film as a reward for bringing the film in on time and under budget. He travels with Maureen, their two children, producer Denis O'Dell and his wife, Peter Sellers, George and Pattie.

John and Yoko decide to live permanently in the USA. John and Yoko are scheduled to join Ringo and the others on the trip, but had to cancel at the last moment since John does not get his visa.

1970

At his home studioe in Sussex, Paul records an interview with Rona Elliott, to be broadcast on the NBC-TV show "Today".

1992
Ringo starts shooting the promo video for his song "Weight Of The World".

1995
Linda officially opens the new 10 million Ross Young food factory in Fakenham, Norfolk. It will be dedicated to the exclusive production of Linda's range of vegetarian food.

1997
Ringo's concert at Chastain Park, Atlanta, Georgia.

In the US, VH-1 broadcasts the premiere of Paul's new documentary "Paul McCartney In The World Tonight".

George and Ravi Shankar give more interviews to promote Ravi's album Chants Of India. Those in line for interviews are Associated Press, Reuters, Westwood One, New York radio staion WNEW and the CBS show "This Morning".

1999
Paul's art exhibition at the Kunstforum Lyz in Hamburg with 75 of his 500 private paintings.

2013
James McCartney performs in concert at One Longfellow Square, Portland, ME (US Tour).
