Default Dr. Ebbetts vs Dr. Robert vs MFSL?

I was checking my old beatleg collection and I found three different torrent downloads... or maybe CD discs I have bought and forgotten...

The Beatles - Collection Boxset [Vinyl MFSL] ca 11GB.

Is these discs/recordings the same? It's a matter of fact... Dr. Ebbetts is wellknown but I have never heard about Dr. Robert!?? The vinyl box from MFSL was really great.

Cheers...

They were two separate entities. I knew Ebbetts and Dr. Roberts was supposedly directly related to the Millennium Remasters project. Though multiple people have used a form of that moniker, so I couldn't swear that they were the same as the one you were inquiring about..

Additional Doctor Robert info. I had forgotten about, but recently rediscovered that I had a complete set of his MFSL box set needledrops. They were done in very hi-rez quality, and sound quite good. All my critical listening equip is still in storage though, so I can't do a direct comparison to my silver backed DESS collection, or my MR collection, but I would guess that the DR edition would best the DESS one. This is only because I believe DESS actually fiddled a little bit with the bass and treble on this collection, owing to ridiculous pressure from those who have felt that MFSL mastered them a bit heavily in those areas. I had collected the MR collection before I got the DESS one, and I love the MR release of that collection. The DESS ones sound just a bit off to me. The DR ones sound almost identical to the MR collection, so maybe they are related.
