Lionel Bart, composer of the musical 'Oliver!' amongst others, onetime husband of Joan Collins. Picture taken July 64
The golfer isn't Tony Jacklin, the guy in the picture is much too old .

Who is the man on the left in the blue turtleneck with Ringo, Mal Evans, and George around 1968? Is that British golfer Tony Jacklin?
On the first, yes Phil Spector and I would say the one at the back is Eric Clapton.

The 2nd I would say yes is Tony Jacklin.

Thanks, Duke. Actually, it's April. With you saying it was Bart, I Googled the pic and found this on Getty Images:

"23rd April 1964: Beatles singer, songwriter and guitarist John Lennon talks to musical composer Lionel Bart at a luncheon, organised by Foyles at the Dorchester Hotel to mark the publication of Lennon's book 'In His Own Write' "

Oh I forgot to mention the man in the middle is Pete Drake, the pedal steel guitar player.

Harry Benson, a photographer with one of the Fleet Street newspapers, I believe. He became quite good mates with the Beatles. He was with them on their first US visit, (when this pic was taken, by John Lennon!) and published a book or two about it in the 80s or 90s.

This is Tony Jacklin in 1970 (a year or two after the picture of George, Ringo, Mal and a golfer). http://images.teamtalk.com/08/06/800...0-2_922681.jpg

This is the wonderful Alma Cogan, a particularly good friend of John's, who was a terrific 'showbiz' singer in the 1950s and 1960s. She and her mother and sister gave parties at their London apartment and the Beatles would often hang out there. She was still touring when she became ill and eventually died of cancer in 1966, only 32. In her heyday she was a little chubby, this photo shows her rather thin, and is probably around the time she became ill.

Is this Eric Clapton (left) and Neil Aspinall (right) on opposite sides of George Harrison around 1966? Where was this airport at where this pic was taken at?

On other forums one person said that the guy on the left is Roger McGuinn of The Byrds. Another person says it's Bill Briggs of The Remains who toured with The Beatles on their 1966 American tour.

And, who is this woman with The Beatles?

Is that Johnny Mathis between Paul and Ringo in 1966? Looks like they got an honour from Melody Maker.

Who is this couple with the lads during the 1965 UK Christmas tour?

Who is the guy in the middle? I recall reading who he was, once. Isn't he a poet or author that John knew?

Who is this between John and George around 1965?

Who is this between Paul and Ringo around 1964? What is the award that Paul is holding?

Royston Ellis, who took John to a houseboat for an orgy the night of this photo where he met the girl he describes in 'Polythene Pam'

Adam Faith, London pop singer turned actor- he was in 'That'll Be The Day' with Ringo. He died about 5 years ago. This photo was taken during rehearsals for Ready Steady Go when John and George appeared 'live' to talk about Ticket to Ride.

This is Sir Henry Cooper, famous London boxing champ who, in 1964 did what no-one else has ever done, namely knock World Boxing Champ Muhammed Ali down! (Ali was called Cassius Clay then).

Who is this with Paul? An artist, perhaps? Looks to be around late 1980s/early 1990s.

Who is Ringo with here around 1964?
