Matt I have not ordered any yet, its the first day covers you want, or the pack with the lot in, Do me a favour ask your mum if they can be ordered from a post office, as I not keen on paying on line unless they take paypal, even if I am a ebay nut, I'm still scared

I don't know what to order! I can't have everything as they're a bit costly!

good choice Luce!

but yeah, I trusted in it anyway as its a royal mail site! My mum says that they don't do them from her post office but the one in town does! But Then I thought, what if they run out very quickly and number 2 I am damned lazy and can't be bothered to walk to town to get them!

From what Steve said, I think the pack is a bit of everything so that is why I went for it!

I run a stamp shop in Edinburgh, and we've had lots of interest from people regarding this issue - both from regular collectors and people who've never had the stamp habit.
Many people seem to be confused as to where to get these Beatles stamps from. They should be on sale at all UK Post Offices from 9 January 2007. Most P.O.s will have the stamps, miniature sheets, and presentation packs available.
Anybody wanting to get a first day cover should check with their own post office in advance. Otherwise, first day covers can be ordered in advance from Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com), or from dealers such as ourselves (www.stamp-shop.com/beatles). First day covers are not sold by Royal Mail after the date of issue - only by dealers.
Hope this helps.

Beatles covers to be on UK stamps

Thursday, 28 December 2006

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/6212271.stm

Six of the Beatles' album covers are to feature in a special set of UK stamps, to be issued next month.
Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Revolver are among the sleeves which will be reproduced on 9 January.

TV show The Sky at Night, in its 50th year, will also be commemorated by the Royal Mail in 2007, with six celestial images chosen by Sir Patrick Moore.

Other subjects for sets will include UK inventions which changed the world and the abolition of the slave trade.

The diamond wedding anniversary of the Queen - whose image appears on traditional British stamps - and the Duke of Edinburgh will be marked in October.

Underwater life, British Army uniforms and the centenary of the Scout Association will also feature on stamps in the UK during the next 12 months.

I could send you a letter, and at least you would have a stamp on it to show your mates.
