Default oh women..... oh why

A solo Macca tune I heard for the first time recently.

Whoa!

A kickass rocker! Heavy heavy sound. Sort of sounds like AC/DC to be honest. It's got those crunching guitars and screaming vocals. Great song!

Thumbs up

I love this one, I forget about it, then I hear it again and it blows me away all over again!

Ok, this prompted me to do some reasearch, and I guess for those who didn't know this song is a single. But it's availble on import copies of "Ram" (which of course, I already have the non-imported version without the singles on it..... dang it). Paul needs to release something like the Beatles Past Masters with all his solo singles on it. Cause now that you guys are discussing this song, I'm dying to hear it, cause I adore all of Paul's rockers.

I don't think the song itself is all that great, but the vocal performance makes it pretty cool. I love those lung-rippers that Paul comes out with every so often.

Cool

It's a pretty cool tune, kinda forgettable in a couple of days, but once you pick it up again it's mesmerizing, because of all those guitars and screamings. Paul plays everything (bass, guitar, drums, percussion and vocals) in this song, BTW; it was the B-side to his "Another Day" 1971 single.

I like it and find it very cute and catchy, a fun, light hearted boppy tune. Paul's vast talent emerges in this, as in all of his songs. It's a worthwhile one to have.

Are we listening to the same song? I don't know that I'd categorize that song as fun, lighthearted or boppy in any way....

Oops! I stand corrected...I was thinking of another song...

As for this one, it is intensely ass kicking rock.

speaking of "Oh Woman Oh Why" here's a Paul montage I made to the remix of the song from the Twin Freaks LP. http://www.yashi.com/?video&vid=201859

Let me know what you guys think :)
