Default Plz list songs that mention Beatles songs or Beatles lyrics.

OK,so I think perhaps I might have misinterpreted that other topic post somewhat,so I said let's start my own & did.

So,here you can and should post songs that have references directly to songs by The Beatles or lyrics from Beatles songs.

Here are a few BBMak ones I found to start it with:

1)"Staring Into Space" by BBMak

"I hear a song, and that just brings it all back, and it seems like 'Yesterday'."
(listen closely...he's identifying "Yesterday" as the song that brings it all back!!)

"In the end,the love you receive is equal to the love you take."
(A re-wording of "The End",so that they could sing it & not get sued.)

2)"Run Away" by BBMak
"Someone said 'Love is all you need.'.Take my hand.I'll show you what he means."
(Geez....I wonder who HE was that said "All You Need Is Love"...lol!)

Before you ask, yes,I am a huge BBMak fan. Also, BBMak are big Beatles fans.

Can solo ones count? Like George's All Those Years Ago when he sings "You were the way to truth when you said All You Need Is Love"

didn't harry nilsson release a song in '64 or '65 or something, with a whole load of beatle lines and titles in it? i think that's how they first became aware of him.
and also...
when the beatles made history getting twelve different songs in the hot 100 at the same time (including the top five positions!), there was also two tribute songs floating around...
one was called 'we love the beatles' by the carefrees, and the other was 'a letter to the beatles' by the four preps.

Ok I'm sure no one was going to mention this one, because I don't think everyone here owns a Schoolhouse Rock video like me:

from the song "A Noun is a Person Place or Thing", part of the lyrics go:
"Well every person you can know (The Beatles, the Monkees, Chubby Checker)......... you know they're nouns"

So spread the news, you guys, the Beatles are most definitely a noun!

That first part as well, as "Lenin" and "Lennon" pretty much sound the same.

"How Do You Sleep" was the first one I thought of besides "Glass Onion". Surprised it took until Page 2 here for someone to mention it.

How about "Savoy Truffle", which mentions "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da"?

And then there's that McCartney bootleg track "Return To Pepperland".

Right...AND: Glass Onion also mentions Lady Madonna and Fixing A Hole, so that's 5 in one song. I doubt any other song has that many Beatles song references.
