Default All You Need Is Love, she loves you sung by Paul.

I remember a topic some time ago with the question, who sung the "She Loves You" part at the end of "All You Need Is Love".

I always knew it for sure to be Paul, but others stated it was John because he was seen singing it on film. Well o.k. but still I thought something was not right, what we get on film doesn't fit what was being sung. Sure John did join in, and it is what I believe just some miming.

John's live vocals, as heard on take 58 recorded during the "Our World" t.v. special, shows that no way he could have sung "She Loves You", there's no time to breath from singing "love is all you need" to "She Loves You".

Here you can find more info, with thanks to Onosidboards for the link to the site.
With also a sound clip.
All you need to hear is Paul

My conclusion, Paul is singing the "She Loves You" bit.Joined by John later, what I must admit, and that's what you see in the film.

How about that? I always assumed it was just John, but clearly Paul starts it. Thanks for posting this!

I don't have time right now, but does anyone mention that John sings "She Loves You" at the beginning of a take?

Wow, that sheds new light on the subject! It does sound as though Paul starts and John joins him.

I don't see how this proves anything new...Paul starts it (by a second) but they both sing the actaul line.

Yea, its nit-pickity, but fun to find little things like this. Look for "Helter Skelter" on that site, theyve isolated a section where Paul is talking some odd talk!

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">You said it yourself Ono, they both sang it. The discusion we had over here some time ago,was wheter Paul or John sang it.And it might be just my ears but I think John just joins in at the end, at the second time they sing "She Loves You".The first "She Loves You" is only Paul.

I wish I could find the topic about "All You Need Is Love", but from what I can remember, there were people (including me) saying it was only Paul cause it sounds like him, and other people saying it was only John, cause he is singing it on film.

I see what you mean Legs. But Paul actually says "she'd love to...", right? And then John joins in on the yeahs, then they both sing the correct lyric. That's how I hear it. Then again, I'm terrible at interpreting lyrics .

I always heard Paul leading the "She Loves You" part and I always heard it as "She Loves You." Since that is one of my favorite songs, I always thought it was a bonus treat having it as part of "All You Need is Love."
