Default Ultimate Macca solo

If you had to do a compilation to introduce someone to Maccas solo career what songs would you choose?

Here's mine

A Macca post-wings solo compilation
1-Lonely rd (Driving rain)
2-Take it away(tug of war)
3-This one (flowers in the dirt)
4-Flaming pie (flaming pie)
5-The pound is sinking (tug of war)
6-Pretty little head (press to play)
7-Mr Bellamy (Memory almost full)
8-Driving rain (Driving rain)
9-You tell me (Memory almost full)
10-She's given up talking (Driving rain)
11-Heather (driving rain)
12-Golden earth girl (off the ground)
13-Come on people (Off the ground)
14-Beautiful night (Flaming pie)

I've not included anything from the McCartneys and Fireman 'cause it didn't fit in with the other stuff

I would certainly include some of the latest Fireman album. It's a pre to show as wide a range of Paul's music as posible, so not everything is going to fit with each other.

Too Many People
Leting Go
Beware My Love
Jet
Let Me Roll It
One Of These Days
Wanderlust
The World Tonight
Beautiful Night
Lonely Road
Fine Line
Jenny Wren
Friends To Go
That Was Me
Ever Present Past
Nothing's To Much
Dance Till We're High

In no particular order...
Calico Skies
1985
Band on the Run
Maybe I'm Amazed
We all stand together
Wanderlust
Silly Love Songs
Beware My Love
Mull of Kintyre
Figure of Eight

These aren't all faves of mine, but it gives a person an idea as to Paul's ranges, including whimsy, rock, ballad, etc.

Hm? Interesting. So far nobody's mentioned Live And Let Die. I'm not up enough on Paul solo to compile a list but for sure I'd put that one on it as well as some from the Fireman CD, paricularly Don't Stop Running, which is an unusual composition, I think. Or maybe that's just me?

I understand your thinking but seriously??? Silly Love Songs, All Stand Together, Mull of Kintyre are awful awful songs! If any other artist had recorded them they would have been shot.

All just your opinon, eh, Z? Sorry, but I do happen to like "Mull of Kintyre". Well no, not sorry, really. I like it. And by the way, I didn't see you list any songs.

But there's nothing to argue in this case. It's a difference of opinion. And in your case, it's just bad taste!

And I would like to know which Paul songs you'd pick!
