The Rutles! (all you need is cash)
Hey Linkers! 
I apologize if theres already a thread for this, but I didn't see one!
The Rutles (for those who don't already know) were a fictional, mock-Beatles band. They made three mockumentarys called: All you need is cash, Archeology, and Can't buy me lunch. Eric Idle did all the writing for the skit portion, and Neil Innes wrote the songs. There are four guys (obvs): Ron Nasty (styled after John Lennon) played by Neil Innes; Dirk McQuickly (styled after Paul McCartney) played by Eric Idle; Stig O'Hara (styled after George Harrison) played by Ricky Fataar; Barry Wom (born Barrington Womble) (styled after Ringo Starr) played by John Halsey. All the Beatles liked the films, especially George, who was a huge Monty Python Fan (Eric is an ex-python). George has a cameo as a news press reporter in all you need is cash. Anyways, I was just curious as to who has seen it. I encourage/recomend it to anyone who hasn't, check it out!! http://www.rutles.org/. You can also find them on Youtube!

I saw "All You Need Is Cash" -- I laughed the whole way through.. it was very well done, I thought.

I adore the Rutles! And I adore Neil!!! (honestly, meeting him made me happier than i ever been) I love Eric Idle for coming up with it and it's also amazing that George was in it. Plus my fav Python, Michael, was in it too

I love the Rutles as well! I remember when the film came out & can't even tell you how many times I've seen it. I think Neil did a fantastic job on it & Eric is soooo funny! Too many funny lines!!!

I had the pleasure to have met 2 of the Rutles, Ron (Neil) & Dirk (Eric). So that makes my score:
Rutles: 2 
Beatles: ZIP! 
I mean, who doesn't love The Rutles? Besides Paul McCartney, of course.
