A few missed lectures isn't going to hurt...she would be sorry for the rest of her life if she misses it so make sure she goes!!! No question about it!

Re: to go or not to go
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, COME ON!
I'd let my grandmother alone in the street with 4 dogs running against her to see Paul!!
Ok, it's serious...
I don't know what to do to see Paul. Really. I'm so sad, because I've never seen him. And he's my life. He's my life.

Re: to go or not to go
YES!!!! I went opening day in Oakland last April and I thougth cool I get to see Paul, let me tell you I was so blown away I had to go see him again. I ended up buying two tickets on Ebay for $293 for the LA show. It was over an 8 hour drive. A friend said he'd dirve me if I bought his ticket. (I don't dive)
Then when Paul came back the 2nd time I bought his ticket again and he drove me to Sacramento.
I wouldn't miss Paul for anything.
School is really important but this is one of
The Beatles

Re: to go or not to go
I think that she should go ONLY if she doesn't have any big midterm exams or major projects due - yes, Paul may not be there the next day, but if she screws up and doesn't hand in an assignment or take a test, it could be the difference between a pass and a fail and everyone knows that post-secondary isn't exactly cheap these days.
If it's only a lecture or two... GO FOR IT!!! We wish we were there!!

Re: to go or not to go
She HAS TO go. I have loved the Beatles since I was 5 (back in 1963), and I always regretted not being old enough to attend one of their concerts. I never thought I would get a chance to see any of them live in concert, so when I found out Paul was performing in my state last fall, I made sure I got a ticket. It was the best concert I have ever been to. I cannot tell you how wonderful (and amazing) it was to see him live, performing many, many Beatles songs. It was truly an extraordinary experience. If your sister doesn't go, she'll always regret it!

Re: to go or not to go
DO IT! It's definitely a once in a lifetime experience. And if she's really concerned about missing something, she could ask a friend to tape class or something. Seeing Paul live would be awesome, it's not something to miss. And if she still needs more convincing, just say the Beatles were a band that changed the world so she should see Paul for her history lesson.

Re: to go or not to go
DEFINITLY GO!!! I can't stress it enough! He puts on a wonderful concert! In fact I had such a blast at the first concert that I went to in May of last year, that I went to two of his concerts on the second leg of his tour last fall.
School is not goin' anywhere, but this could very well be a once in a life time opportunity for her to see Paulie in concert.
She's already done the hard part, getting the ticket, she'd be crazy not to go at this point. Perhaps she could tell her professors she's "sick"... hey it happens to the best of us.
Anyway, avoid missing it at all costs, I think it's something that she will really regret if she does.
Paul puts on a phenomenal show, a splendid time is garunteed for all!
