Each year we have a thread for posts for those who want to send love to George on the day of his passing over. So anything you'd like to say or share with George (publically), here is the place and now is a good time.
George, there are not enough thank you's that could express how thankful I am for the positive influence you've been in my life. I hope that wherever you are, you hear and feel all the love that we have for you. I may have never met you and you never knew who I was, but you still are more important to me than many of the people I HAVE met and shared personal relationships with. Thank you for the beautiful music and inspiring thoughts. You were a beautiful person. Missing you today and always...

Inspiration, move me brightly.
Light the song with sense and color;
Hold away despair, more than this I will not ask.
Let me just say to you how much I love you and the music you brought forth into this world. The songs you wrote have been resonating deep within me for a few years now. On a deeper level, your persona and personality have resonated and harmonized with mine on many levels. The more I read your words and about your life, I see that we share many emotional and spiritual traits.
When you left 8 years ago, I was 17 and not nearly as big of a fan as I am now. I was just experiencing the Beatles music for the first time through the "1" CD and was shocked to hear of your passing. I was just starting to get to know your work and then you were gone. In many ways it feels like you are with me every time I listen to your music, but by the grace of God, I hope to meet you personally someday after my life on earth is through.
Before I end, I just wanna say thank you for everything you gave to us through your words, music, and lifespan. Today I will listen to your songs, read your words, and mimic playing your songs through The Beatles: Rock Band using a replica of your Gretsch Duo Jet guitar. We miss you always. Peace and Love to you forever.
Miss you very much since you died... Remember how I cried that much when I came back from school that day, feeling sad to hear my favorite Beatle died... I only cried when I arrived home (couldn't cry at school, in front of my classmates)...
Since you came to my dream (the fab dream...), I loved you more...
(Ok, this could be nonsense, but is what I think)
Miss you so much, George! Love ya!

I miss you every day, George, but I know you're happier now. I love you! You'll never be dead to me in my heart and soul, even though you may not be in material form on the Earth anymore. I really, really love you, George, and I really miss you!

I love you, George. I remember hearing about your passing on the news and old footage was shown. I was just getting into The Beatles at that time. I thought about you a lot that day at school, even though I was only 10 years old and in the 4th grade.
I am SO glad your legacy lives on through your music, videos, and other work. And through Dhani and Olivia (and Paul and Ringo), too!
Hope to see you in Heaven! God bless you.

My novella, Lyon's Legacy, about a scientist traveling back to the TwenCen to visit her fictional rock star ancestor, is now available as an e-book from Amazon, B&N, and Smashwords and in paper from CreateSpace and Amazon.
"Once upon a time there were three
little boys calledjohn, george and paul,

together because they were the getting-together

what for after all, what for? So all of a sudden
they all grew guitars and formed a noise."

I'm in the middle of watching Concert for George, which has always seemed like a fitting tribute to celebrate his life, his loved ones, and his music.
Love you George, you may have moved on from this world but you are never forgotten.

I miss the feeling of listening to a new George song. All of them were new to me when I began, and through his music I discovered excellent and heartfelt lyrics, and humble, great talent.
So even though I didn't know him personally, I miss him a lot.
