Radiohead: Street Spirit.
Good fingerpicking song, based on pretty simple open chords

After listening to my mono "White Album", I became entranced by "Goodnight" and decided to come up with a finger-picking "arrangement" on my guitar.
It's sounding pretty cool. Need a capo up at the 7th fret to make it sound the way I want it to.

I've just learnt "Heartbeat" by Buddy Holly, thanks to a YouTube tutorial. I'd like to learn the bass and drum parts to that song, too, so I could record it, but I cannot hear anything too clearly in the mix. But I'm so proud I cannot stop playing it!

yesterday I learned both versions of Something.
it's the most satisfying song I've played so far!
The last one before that was Give A Little Bit by Supertramp, which was lovely

I try everything from The Beatles, Elvis, John Denver even Billy Fury. For some odd reason a song may grab my attention, and it doesn't have to be a Beatle song.
The last song to do this was Mike Oldfields Moonlight Shadow, so then I sit down and figure out the chords, I know I could go online and find them but I just sit try and pick them out.
It's just the chords, I'm not good at guitar riffs, so there I am, the lyrics in front of me and it may take some while before I match the lyrics to the chords, but usually I get there.
I have many music books, Beatles, Eagles, Elvis, John Denver even some sheet music with Love Me Do on 2/6d it was LOL (old British coinage by the way).

Nice one, but something I cannot afford. Bid for a couple of Rickenbackers on E-Bay but been blown out of the water by higher bidders. The 12 string ones are something I dream of owning but alas it will have to stay a dream.

Last song I completed was Here Comes The Sun, with capo on 7th fret. I can sing it while playing, because the lead acoustic (although I play it on electric with clean channel) follows the melody. It's actually quite easy and fun to play.
(Oh, and massive bump. Sorry about that)

I think I'll help the bump along :D (sorry)
I learned 'Dream On' and 'Livin On the Edge' by Aerosmith, but the last Beatles song is either 'And Your Bird Can Sing' or 'SPLHCB'. I kinda work on all of them at the same time(very short attention span, get bored/distracted easily)
