Beatles' reunion talks rise across the UK, with reports from both BBC and ITN news. The meeting of Paul, George and Ringo that was scheduled is cancelled, not because of reunion rumors, but because Ringo decided to take a skiing trip with his wife Barbara Bach.
George gives out special souvenir pieces from his previous 48-track FPSHOTS recording equipment, which he used between 1972 and 1992. Each piece came with a Friar Park certificate of authenticity. George replaced the old console with a brand new 96-track version.
