The Beatles played at Litherland Town Hall, Liverpool. In the audience are Johnny Guitar and Ringo Starr from Rory Storm & the Hurricanes.

1962

UK single release: "My Bonnie" (Polydor NH 66-833).

1963
In the "Liverpool Echo", Tony Barrow announces and comments the release of the 2nd Beatles single.

End of tour of Scotland.

1965
"Another Beatles Christmas Show" at the Hammersmith Odeon, London (two performances).

1966

"Day Tripper"/"We Can Work It Out" number 1, 5th and last week (UK Record Retailer).


Rubber Soul number 1, 5th week (UK Record Retailer).

CTS Studios. The Beatles record overdubs onto the soundtrack of the film "The Beatles At Shea Stadium".

After night-clubbing together, John and P.J. Proby participate in a party at P.J. Proby's house, 5 Cheltenham Terrace, London.

1967

At the Kolnischer Kunstverein in Cologne, West Germany, the exhibition of Yoko's work "Happening And Fluxus" is shown.

1974
"Mind Games" number 27 (Dutch Top 40).

"Photograph" number 37 (Dutch Top 40).

"Melody Maker" publishes its results of the "Top Albums Of '73" poll. The Beatles came in at #6 with The Beatles 1967-1970 and #8 was The Beatles 1962-1966. The soundtrack to the movie "That'll Be The Day" finished at #19 and Wing's Red Rose Speedway placed #36.

1976
Mal Evans dies in Los Angeles, in an unfortunate incident. In a drunken stupor, he had become uncontrollably violent. The recent divorce procedings of his marriage may have contributed to his mental state. The Los Angeles Police shoots him in self defense. He was 40.

1977
In Los Angeles, an exhibition of Linda's photographs is on display at the Jan Baum and Iris Silverman Gallery.

1978

"Mull Of Kintyre"/"Girl's School" number 1, 2nd week (Hitkrant Europarade).

1981

Double Fantasy number 1, 3rd week (Australia Kent Music Report).

1983
In Los Angeles, the Linda exhibition "Photographs" is displayed at the Molly Barnes Gallery.

1985
"Do They Know It's Christmas?", by Band Aid, number 1, 4th week (UK British Market Research Bureau).

1986
In the US, Cinemax airs the TV program "Blue Suede Shoes: A Rockabilly Session With Carl Perkins And Friends".

1987
At Friar Park studios, George begins work on his album, Could Nine.

1990

UK single release: "Put It There"/"Mama's Little Girl" (Parlophone R 6246).

Paul performs in concert at the NEC International Arena, Birmingham ("Get Back Tour").

1996
Klaus Voorman arrives in London and hands over to Apple his completed design for Anthology 3.

1997
At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.

1998
BBC1 broadcasts the final part of a three-part special George Martin documentary, entitled "The Rhythm Of Life".

In Washington, D.C., an exhibition of Beatles photographs taken by Harry Benson is on display at the Govinda Gallery.

1999
In Tampa, Florida, the exhibition of Linda's pictures entitled "Sixties" is on display at the Tampa Museum of Art.

2001

1 number 1, 8th week (Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana Albums Charts).
