1963
End of Christmas pantomime "Babes In The Wood", with Gerry and the Pacemakers.

The Beatles began their first headlining tour in Scotland appearing at the Two Red Shoes Ballroom, Elgin, Morayshire.

1964
"Beatles Christmas Show", at the Astoria Cinema, Finsbury Park, London.

"The Jack Paar Show" transmits a fragment of a Beatles' concert at the Winters Garden, Bournemouth. It includes "She Loves You". First important exposure of the Beatles on American television.

1966
"Day Tripper" number 1, 3rd week (Irish Singles Chart).

1968

"Hello, Goodbye" number 1, 5th week (UK Record Retailer).

30,000 copies of Two Virgins are confiscated in New Jersey, on a judge's order, accused of the pornographic cover.

1970

Abbey Road number 1, 13th week (UK Record Retailer).
Abbey Road number 1, 9th week (US Billboard).

Studio 2. 2:30pm-12:15am. Recording: "I Me Mine" (takes 1-16). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Phil McDonald; 2nd Engineer: Richard Langham. Last song recorded by the Beatles.

During the session, George improvises a version of "Peggy Sue Got Married".

At the Kolnischer Kunstverein in Cologne, West Germany, the exhibition of Yoko's work "Happening And Fluxus" is shown.

In Los Angeles, the Linda exhibition "Photographs" is displayed at the Molly Barnes Gallery.

BBC2 re-screens the Beatles' film "Yellow Submarine".

1987
An exclusive interview with Paul is transmitted on the Music Box, during the weekly pop-profile series "Private Eyes".

The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.

1990
Paul performs in concert at the NEC International Arena, Birmingham ("Get Back Tour").

At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.

1998
In Washington, D.C., an exhibition of Beatles photographs taken by Harry Benson is on display at the Govinda Gallery.

In Tampa, Florida, the exhibition of Linda's pictures entitled "Sixties" is on display at the Tampa Museum of Art.
