Default The Beatle's first manager

I recall he spoke regarding George’s demise, but does anyone know if Allan Williams is still alive? What about his wife or ex-wife Beryl( I think that was her name). Did they ever have kids? Has anyone ever read his autobio?

Allan and Beryl are both still with us. I saw them a few months ago, Beryl looks amazing, about 45!

Wow are you good friends with them. Do they have kids? I wonder if Paul still stays in contact with them?

I've known them casually for 40 years. They were with one of their sons, Barry. Allan has heard from Paul and Ringo over the years but they're not really in contact with him.

Shouldn't the title of this thread read "The Beatles' First Manager", as Allan Williams was the manager of the whole group, not just ONE of them as the current title implies?

Allan Williams passed away December 31st, 2016. I remember meeting him years back when he was at the Beatleweek festival and he signed a CD cover for me, along with Pete Best and Sam Leach.

Sad news. =/

Default 60's group The SandPipers covering the Beatles

I think this is a pretty Spanish version of Paul's classic. I wonder if he ever heard it. The Sandpipers had beautiful voices.
