He looks a little bit like Eddie Munster (Butch Patrick) with a beer belly and no hair!

The living people who can say they were once Beatles are: Paul, Ringo, Chas Newby, Jimmie Nicol, Pete Best and Johnny Hutchinson...
Newby should count because he played three shows as a Beatle and WAS ASKED by Lennon to go with the band the second time to Hamburg, which he turned down...
Nicol was clearly only a replacement for Ringo in early '64, but he played eight shows in front of huge crowds and had to act out being a Beatle and all that for interviews so i think he should also count...
Hutchinson is debatable, as he filled in for newly named Ringo for two gigs and was (I think) already in a band called The Big Three.

It's a fun question...
Guys like Hanton, Moore and Chapman were either Quarry Men or Silver Beatles.
Newby, Nicol and Hutchinson actually were paid to be with The Beatles.

I'm glad you posted the picture. I admit that I would not have recognized Jimmy right off the bat. Poor guy - time has really marched all over him!

Man Jimmy Nichol sure has changed over the years. Back on topic there were called the fab four and will always be the beatles. There are only sadly two left with us, but John and George will forever be in our hearts.

The Guy's what, close to 70?! Not every musician can afford (or wants) Botox, plastic surgery or hair dye!!
Looks like an average 65- 70 year old if you ask me...

Chas Newby was never a full official member of The Beatles. He was asked to fill in. He did and he was quite a good bass player with a decent Hofner bass. Only good players bought expensive guitars. Lennon asked him to stay and he turned them down preferring to take up his studies again. He was a chemical engineer and was instrumental in designing pilot canopies for US fighters.
