Re: anthology versions
I prefer the Anthology versions of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and For You Blue, although I really like George's comments in For You Blue in the Let It Be album version.

Re: anthology versions
Across the Universe is definitely better on the Anthology than on either Let it Be or Past Masters. All Things Must Pass is GREAT on there, too! I also like the 1963 version of One after 909... it's not necessarily better than the LIB version, but just different.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I love the White Album version too, but the anthology ones just makes my spine tingle!

Re: anthology versions
I've always liked Mean Mr. Mustard and Polythene Pam off the third Anthology. The guitars sound great!

Re: anthology versions
I also really like Two of Us on the Anthology version. Especially the bit where Paul says "Take it Phil" to John.

Re: anthology versions
The live Stockholm performances knock me right out. I would have liked to have been at that concert over any other. As the booklet says, they were exuberant, to say the least.
Can't Buy Me Love with John and George's background singing.
Good Morning,Good Morning and I Am The Walrus sounded good and raw.
Hello, Goodbye may have had guitar overkill, but I was glad they included it, George was ripping with it.

I really like the version of Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite off of Anthology 2. And She Came in Through the Bathroom Window on Anthology 3.

Re: anthology versions
I actually liked the anthology version of "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" better than the Sgt. Pepper one.
I thought the "Eight Days A Week" was pretty cool because you can see where they were going and how they were advancing it.
"No Reply"--definitely better on anthology.
"And I Love Her"--an interesting take, especially with George's picked electric guitar.
"And Your Bird Can Sing"--makes me giggle every time I hear it.
"Only A Northern Song" because of George singing it from his perspective instead of from an observer's perspective.
"Got To Get You Into My Life"--I love the studio version too, but I like it best without trumpets.
