OMG, he looks amazing. I know there are so many people who rag about him being so skinny in his last years. ^ Yes, I think his hair was auburn. I know Paul described John's mom as having auburn hair, and I believe a lot of people described him having red in his hair- including Yoko- and auburn is a "reddish-brown" so...

i just wondered, that was the color of my hair before the gray-now white hair set in..or at least that's what my mother said. her hair was the same when she was younger. i always just said ..red...but she did not like that she always said auburn, my wife always said the same.

she says red is "carrot top"...i don't know i just know when the sun would hit mine it would look like that photo....a looooooong time ago.

Oh, well... in some pictures, John's hair look some kind of redish (unfortunately ), depending on how the sun or light-spot was shining on, but his hair-colour was actually brown.

^ Snoopy, red hair is gorgeous lady, what chu talkin' bout? I have dark brown hair, but I play around with colors with my hairdresser and various shades of red were THE most popular colors at the salon I go to this past year and the year before. It's beautiful.

Plus John's mom Julia was a red-head and the poor man just had to own it. Can't fight the beauty.

Well, actually I have nothing against red-hair... I even have a white-red coloured cat I have myself dark-blond hair and I've been playing since many years with colors like light-blond AND red, so

That's right there's nuthin' wrong with the redheads! My dad's side is full of them... I have dark auburn hair myself. The longer it grows, the redder it gets.

John had such interesting hair because it was brown, it was auburn, it was blondish... it was straight, it was wavy, it was curly... ever-changing. Just like Mr. Lennon himself.

That's very true; John's hair was like his personality and music: ever-changing, colourful and never boring

Okay, I'm posting this for all the haters out there of John's parted hair look. (You know I love ya, Scruffie and Snoopy... I'm just goofing.)

One morning when I was in 6th Grade, as I walking to Melrose Elementary School with my BFF Lori (where IS Lori now?!), John Lennon was a surprise guest dj at radio station KHJ, which was 1.5 miles due east of me... and I didn't even know he was there!!!! Anyway, here is a photo of the day.... he looks great!
