RIP Prince 1958 - 2016
Prince of "Purple Rain" fame has died. He was found dead in an elevator. He had been battling flu for 3 weeks.
The doves are crying now.

I was not a big fan of his. My supervisor saw his concert in Atlanta shortly before his tragic demise, she's the one who informed me about his death. Naturally I was shocked out of my mind. My fave songs were "Diamonds and Pearls", "Little Red Corvette", and "1999". I also liked "Eternal Flame" in which he wrote for the Bangles.

I loved "Let's Get Crazy," "When Doves Cry," "Little Red Corvette" and "The Kiss." (I didn't like Tom Jones' version of "The Kiss" at all.) I admit I was never a big fan or follower of Prince, but I did like his movie "Purple Rain." He wrote many songs for many artists and I was surprised when I learned he wrote "Manic Monday" for the Bangles.
