Red face

Why does that jolly spririt stop with people in general as soon as Christmas is over? It's harder to be mean than nice, of course that is maybe my slanted view

Ringo Cat likes to look at things upside-down. She'll lie on the floor and roll over so that she's looking around upside-down. Or she'll sit on my lap with her back to me and lean back to look at me upside-down. Weird cat.

Bes does the same thing! When my son holds her she turns her head upside down so she can look at me like that. I figured I must be so much more attractive upside down!

Maybe she actually sees the world upside down, until she rolls over!

How come men are so stubborn when it comes to going to the doctor? My husbands head could be half off and he'd say "its fine."

Dad was that way this week. Monday night he finally admitted to my brother that he wasn't well (I won't go into details) and we took him to an ER ... we got him home only tonight He's doing much better, is back to his usual orneriness and says he'll do much better about informing us if anything's troubling him.

I waited the suggested 55 minutes, 30 seconds; what did I miss?

another year--war, assassinations, poverty, when will we learn?
On the other hand, more people working for peace, more freedom of speech (thanks internet), more waking up to environmental concerns, more people concerned with the suffering of others.

On balance it's progress; slow, slow, slow, but progress anyhow.

How come I fall asleep on the couch watching tv, but when I go get in bed I'm wide awake?

Maybe the bed is not as boring as the couch.

How old is your dad, Jes, if you don't mind my asking? When they get "up there" in age like my dad, the orneriness increases! But that's good!

Hope your dad keeps doing well, starts the year off right!
