Default Worst Beatle Books

We all know the Messrs. Goldman and Guiliano are notorious for their execrable works. What other Beatle bios do you think are genuine stinkers?

My vote goes to Francie Schwartz' exceptionally execrable work entitled "Body Count." She has continued to act a fool and her book only confirms what I've thought about her all along.

The teeny-bopper books of 1964 that portray the Fabs as innocent, virginal boys next door or across the street or if you live in an apartment, boys on the hall. They're cutesy little books, but offer nothing in terms of substance. While I would not quite categorize them as stinkers, I would not take them seriously and just view them as fun Beatle primers, a step above Dick & Jane. ("See Paul Play" - not that bad). Silly, trivial fluff like their then favorite foods and colors.

Those teeny books are funny though because quite a few had errors in them as to heights and stuff which I always found humorous

"john Lennon" by George Carpozi Jr a quicke book designed to cash in after his death personally I've always found that December the 9th is followed by December the 10th of course I could be wrong.....
Chet Flippo seems to have a case of sour grapes in his bio of Paul

"Paul McCartney:Beatle With Wings!" wasn't mean spirited or anything, just kind of dorky.

Peter Brown's book bit the big wienie.

Not real crazy about Seaman, Rosen or even Spitz's books, either.

I never read Francie Schwartz's magnum opus. I saw her once on some dopey "Beatle Girls" show on "E." What a skank.

I saw her on that E! program and was not favorably impressed with her. I think she is a tragic figure and a cautionary tale of what not to do. Instead of building her life, she appears to have tabled it after l'affaire Paul. From all accounts and it is certainly understandable that Paul is not looking to revisit that part of his life. They had a summer fling; it's over and they went their separate ways. Hopefully Ms. Schwartz will grow up; drop the axe she has been grinding for decades and stop acting a fool on other discussion boards. She is hurting nobody but herself.

I saw it on E! as well I thought really nasty things like "Gee I didn't know Paul was having trouble with his eyesight then" & "Good grief Woman, he dumped you, get over it"
