Which Beatle song reminds you of.....

Which Beatle song or songs, reminds you of your childhood more than any other Beatle song or songs?

For me I'd have to say All Together Now, When I'm 64, and Yellow Submarion.

Of course I loved all The Beatle songs, but these three really remind me of being a little kid again.

I use to run around in circles to these songs. I had to been around 2-5 maybe even a little after 5.

Each time I'd hear these songs, I would get soo excited.

So would my brother, and later my sister.

We would chase each other and pretend we were cars.

When we got tired, we'd jump on the couch and go, out of gas.. filler up.

Many times we would do that once the song ended, then another song would start.

For example when the song All Together Now started to play, that is when we'd start running around in circles again.

Boy sometimes I wish I was a little kid again, just so I can do that. If I did that now, people would be looking at me funny.

Oddly enough it is you never give me your money. Its one of the first songs i ever heard.

Yes it would be great if we could all be little kids again. We lose are innocence which is the most precious thing one could ever have and the loss of it is probably the most tragic thing ever.

Actually it is John's solo songs that bring back my childhood. Unfortunately not in a happy way.
But Eight Days A Week and I Feel Fine bring back happier days of my college years...My hubby used to sing them and a few other good Beatley songs to me over the phone when we were 'separated' and write the lyrics in letters

Of my childhood? Well I'd say any of the Beatles early stuff, up to 1965, and Wings hits. Why the odd choice? Cuz when I was really little, my mom used to play those records (yes records) when she cleaned the house on Saturdays.

Happy Just To Dance With You. My mother's favourite Beatle tune. The first CD my family ever boiught was A Hard Day's Night and, to this day, if I hear this song I can remember my childhood days

"Help!" and "She Loves You."

When I was very little, I loved to say, "yeah, yeah, yeah" and thought this was such a fun song.

Once my mother was watching television and "Here Comes the Sun" was playing. I waited until the song finished because I love it so much. I don't know what she was watching. I just wanted to hear that song.

On a serious note, in more recent years I met a girl with Asperger's Syndrome who absolutely loves the Beatles; is quite a Beatle expert and who literally learned to talk from listening to the Beatles and the way they expressed themselves. When asked what her favorite Beatle song is, her answer was immediately "Think For Yourself," a 1965 George Harrison gem. That made me smile SO much!

That is my FAVORITE song from "AHDN!" I love it! It was the first song I ever learned to play by ear.

It's one of my all time favorites to this day.

Although John wrote it, George sang lead on it (as he was expected to do at least one song in the film) and George made it his song! I just LOVE it!

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. It was the first Beatle song I remember hearing, I never even knew it was done by the Beatles. I just remember I liked it.

I guess it would have to be (and it pains me to say it because it's probably my least favorite Beatles song) "Michelle" because my brother had the sheet music when I was 6. But muahahahaha, *I* have it now.....

"Yellow Submarine", of course. Probably the first song in English that I learned.

Well for me is Michelle too, but I love this song!!
It was the first Beatle song I learned to sing I was about 7.
But the first Beatle related song I "sang" was George's I got my mind set on you, there's a video of me when I was 3 years old singing and dancing to this song!

Also The Fool On The Hill was one of the first Beatles songs I remember hearing on am radio.

Yes those would be the words I was singing, but I didn't know the correct lyrics and I went years looking at music for that song I thinking "How dumb are they? Those aren't the lyrics!" when in the end I was the dumb one!
