Well, if I look through my CD collection, I appear to have many CD's by the following bands and/or artists, so I guess they're my favorites: Kinks, Who, Police, John Hiatt, Squeeze, Marshall Crenshaw, Robyn Hitchcock, XTC, Nick Lowe, old Billy Joel, Smithereens, Wilco, Elton, S&G...I'm sure I'm missing somebody...

John Hiatt is one of the most under-rated singer-song writers.I think WXRT is the only radio station that plays him.

I know really! Plus, it's good to see I'm not the only one who listens to XRT.

I usually dont like favorite questions becuase there's always too many to count. But hey, I'll give a try.

The Beatles ( Umm duh.)
The Darkness
Cherry Monroe
The Rolling Stones
Bright Eyes ( Conor Oberst)
My Chemical Romance
Weezer
John Hiatt
John Mayer
Squeeze
INXS ( Have you seen their show on ABC?)
Maroon 5
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Eh, I donno. There's far to many.

Yep. It's called Rockstar:INXS. They're trying to find a new lead singer. It's abit like American Idol but only with better songs.

So do I. My favorite station actually used to be Oldies 104.3, but now that the format has changed to a "Jack" station, my favorite is probably The Drive, followed by WXRT.
Some of my favorite bands/artists, other than the Beatles are:
Genesis, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, The Police, The Who, Rolling Stones, and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but off the top of my head those are my favorites.
