I moved out of Arnold grove in 1999. Anyone who came before then you would have stood outside my house to take a photo of George's.
I could have had you in for Tea and Bickies.

I really can not believe that the tours do not take you round there? its George's history. and it is so close to Arnold grove. So if any of you are going then ask the guide when you get to Arnold grove. It will take about 30 seconds to walk there.

How sweet! Louise said her mother, Louisa Woolton was "very kind to everyone" and described an incident wherein she [Louisa] invited a man who was deaf and lacking speech in for some water. That anecdote is given in Hunter Davies' biography.
I did not know Louise French Harrison, but from all accounts she sounded like a truly lovely woman.

In 1891 Arnold Grove was not there. I have yet to check 1911.
Well I hope somebody finds this interesting. Its nice to see who was there before George.

Although this is an old thread, it is interesting and informative. There was another Harrison family living in that building/complex? A Harrison who worked for the Department of Transportation as Harold was a "Corpy" years later.
*errata: I meant Louise Woollam in the post above.
