LOL well of course I know that, thank you very much, but it could also be that someone knows a few :). In your case I would go for the "I don't know anyone who do X" which makes more sense and in your case would be clear to the community if you do or don't know anyone who do X which is all part of the communication, not that I care if HC does or does not know anyone who do X, but more in the light of clearing communication?

It may be useful, but I do not see the need for it.
Like for example at Gmail, Yahoo, Facebook or name any, you can sign up with any name you want which has nothing to do with your real name.

Ok, that would be the most absolutely clear thing to say, yes, but you knew exactly what she meant by what she did say, so why the crack? Wait, we all know why, actually, so never mind...

Yes me too! Imo it makes life so much easier at work.
And in the near future you won't even be able to pay your bills "offline" anymore. The banks continue cutting their costs...so... one day we all have to. I know..I'm working at one... Ooops should not have said that
There is also, as FPSHOT said, a very legal way to find out what people paid for their house and how big the mortgage is. If you would want to know. Here in Holland most people are very open about the price of their house btw.... Not the mortgage

I read your usual sarcasm but it is no crack, it's just simple 2011. If you do not see it, fine ... but it is so non 2011 to read certain comments, no matter from who, so do not judge please in such a sad way saying 'we all know' because you can think you speak on behalf of everyone here but I know quite a few who do not see it your way Rell and I would appreciate not to be offended this way again.

I apologize if I have actually seriously offended you. If you didn't mean your earlier statement as critical and sarcastic and I misinterpreted your intentions, then I'm sorry about that.
Carry on.

Scan not with a microscopic glass without knowing someone's intentions.

Are you okay kmac? Maybe I better ask you how you sleep, maybe an overdose of 'watching the detectives'?

Ok maybe back to the topic;
Yeah that is true and also valuable if you are looking for a house to buy and can compare what's been paid for in the street/lane/area.
Also like Lynn said, it's much easier when you share an e-mail address for certain services. Like I took out a car insurance a few months back and had the required documents via e-mail within an hour.
And really, insurance companies will not use your e-mail addy for other things. It's even illegal here.

You must know this thing they say that when you point 1 finger out to someone there are 3 fingers and a thumb from the same hand most likely pointing at yourself
So maybe get on topic for a change or go fishing no offense

Good, and companies who betray the rules are being fined, so no need to worry about giving an insurance company - as example - an e-mail address which makes things a lot easier.
Can anyone please reply before I get the 'last word' crap again in this thread

Your wish is my command.
taxgirl, do you really think that in the near future we won't be able to pay bills offline? I do see it as a possibility at some point, but think it's at least a generation away.
This topic has taken several twists and turns, but there's also good info when you read through everything.
