Hi welcome to the forum.
It's from 1976, after Capitol had released the Beatles albums on the the Apple logo between 1971 - 1975, and before they switched to a purple label in 1978.
I have the same label variation.

But where's your 24 page Bob Gibson cartoon booklet?? It looks like it's been ripped out! The whole MMT experience is POINTLESS without that book!

Just to clarify a point, what you have there is referred to as the "orange" Capitol label, and Legs gave you the dates for it. There actually was a "red" label which looked just like the green target label but was bright red. It was produced for possibly less than a week in 1971. The known albums with red label varieties, namely Revolver and I think Yesterday and Today, are extremely rare and go for mucho bucks.

The only one of those 'red' labels that have been discovered to date, to my knowledge, is Revolver. As you say - very, very rare! I didn't know a Y&T is out there too. That'd be gold dust!

Wow...I had a copy of Yesterday & Today with this label...before my mother decided to clean out her basement and tossed all my albums (700+)! Her intention was to throw away my father's records after he passed away. You would think she would note the difference between his Stan Kenton albums and my copy of "Never Mind the Bollocks", but....

I recently came across some web sites that had mentioned the existence of Y&T, but I've never seen a picture, so who knows the authenticity of it. But yeah, that Revolver is definite. If Y&T actually is out there, it would almost be unfair for that one release to have so many rare versions.

A good book on the subject is Bruce Spizer's "The Beatles Swan Song", which deals with Beatle albums on many different labels including the ones released by Capitol in the 70's.
He says that the only confirmed albums with the red label are "Revolver" and "Yesterday and Today". A picture of "Yesterday and Today" is shown.

I wish I could afford those books but they're way too expensive for me.

On the subject of Magical Mystery Tour vinyl issues, this is a scan of my copy of the British double EP.
Can anyone tell me if this is a reissue or a 1967 copy.
I bought in a store in San Fransisco, California called Let It Be Records in 1997 or so.
