Ever have a Beatles flashback?
I am sittng here listening to "Revolver", and during "Love You Too" I was suddenly jetted back to my room at my parent's old house listening to it for one of the first times ever.
I know it's weird, and can simply be attributed to a simple memory. The sensation happens in a instant and then is gone as soon as it comes - but it's very real for me. Happens a lot with The Beatles music.

Hof, Beatles music is nothing but a nostalgic flashback for the last thirty plus years of my life...keep 'em coming!

My earliest memory is hearing "Hello Goodbye" on my aunt's radio and watching her react by kissing her Beatles poster; I'm guessing I was about three-years-old then. Sometimes when I hear that song now I recall that time.
When I first got my copy of The Beatles Forever by Nicholas Schaffner, I was flipping though the pages and looking at the pictures. When I came across the picture on page 102 of a Yellow Submarine notebook, I felt a strong flashback to when I was in elementary school (not that I remember that particular notebook back then); that was one of the most intense 'flashbacks' I've ever felt (not that I experience many flashbacks). I experienced a similar 'flashback' when I saw a similar actual notebook at Beatlefest in August.

Yeah whatever, you seem to spend too much time enjoying listening to the WRONG versions of those albums..

When I was 3, I used to love saying "yeah, yeah, yeah" and "She Loves You" was my first favorite Beatle song.

There are some strange flashbacks but I can't remember now any one of them.

Well, it looks like Jesgear and I have "Hello Goodbye" in common as our first Beatles song. When I hear HG, I often flashback to '68, listening to the 45 on my cousin's beat up red portable record player. He must have just got the single because he played it non-stop for what seemed like hours.

It's the Maori Finale that does it for me. My aunt's nickname is Lolly and I remember her sisters singing to her "hey, Loll" instead of "hey, la".

Well... if it took you back, and it happened in a flash, I'd say it counts.

i once upon a time had only an album or two, very fresh, and a trademark bootleg and i cry just thinking about it. It seems to me a bit silly, there is just no comparison between the british revolver and the american revolver thing.

Who was comparing U.K. and U.S. albums on this thread?
The thread isn't about that at all.

Whenever I listen to rubber soul I go back to my childhood backyard listening to a mix tape my dad made me... good times.. I will hear songs I have not listened too since then, and know ever word.
