Hey everyone :)
I'm new here, but I've been watching the tattoo thread for a while now.
My 20th birthday is coming up in a couple of months and I want a Beatles tattoo to comemorate it.
My parents are strictly against tattoos, so I'm a bit restricted as to where it'll go. I have one tattoo already, this one. http://www.checkoutmyink.com/assets/...JPG?1251066567
So I was thinking of getting some Beatles lyrics in the same spot, on my other leg.
Only trouble I'm having is picking the perfect lyrics! [I want John Lennon's font].
I was thinking 'It was twenty years ago today..' from Sgt Pepper's, because it'll be my 20th birthday, but I'm not sure if that will mean enough to me.
My favourite song is Help! and I was thinking maybe 'When I was younger, so much younger than today..' but again I don't know if it means enough to get tattooed on me.
For those of you who have lyric tattoos, how'd you choose what lyrics to get? Was it your favourite song? |

Got mine done yesterday. it's not completely finished because this took almost 3 hours and I couldn't sit in the chair anymore. I'm going back to finish it when it heals! i love it though :) |

I have a very simple beatles tattoo.
Here comes the sun inscript with a sun over it. On eitherside of the 'here comes the sun' are the notes on a staff for that line.
I have been wanting to add onto it and the sun needs touchup because it turns out the red that I had as a part of the sun...I'm allergic to.
Any suggestions for addons?
Here comes the sun is my favorite, and george is my favorite mop top.

My Beatles Apple tattoo. Unfortunately some of the ink used to create the yellowish effect has healed pinkish, but we'll touch that up soon. Getting the "Help!" figures on left arm in a few weeks. |

I designed this tattoo freehand the night before I got it...I knew a wanted a Beatles tattoo...but couldn't think of anything good enough to have on me forever! I thought I turned out pretty darn cool! I love line drawings...the graphic quality...plus you take a chance getting a realistic tattoo...some tattooists make it look really weird. Anyway...enjoy!!!

Ringo has two tattoos on his forearms. One is a shooting star across the moon and I believe the other one is a cross. I have never seen them though.
