A Few Minutes of Silence on 11/29
It is hard to imagine it has been four years since George passed over into Lord Krishna's loving arms. How about if we all send George a prayer sometime around 1:30 Los Angeles time today?
Also feel free to let George know here if you like ... whatever is in your heart.
**************
I give all the love in my heart to you, George~ you've made my entire life experience infinitely richer. You showed me how to laugh more, love deeper, and think for myself. Thank you and I'm holding a huge astral body hug for you when we meet.
I miss you here beyond imagination, but my gratitude outweighs even that.

He (and the others) were a big influence on how I think and create.
George, I'll never get over you.

George, this day I remember you, as I do every day, and I have been thinking about what to write you today, from all what is in my heart.
You inspired me a bit George, because yesterday I read in I Me Mine and I read about a few things which have influenced your journey in the life between 1943 and 2001, in this case I pick out two things which are; travelling to India and meeting Ravi, and purchasing Friar Park.
Many will think of their favourite song today and I will think of those too..however today I think of you as a mentor, an inspirer and a gardener.
Ravi said about you that one of your qualities was that of a wise old man who likes to advise and teach. Well indirect I learned a lot from you George.
What you said about India “what we need isn't material, it's spiritual. We need, sort of, some other form of peace and happiness” is so true. And you have given me many sources from which I try to get there as well and as you know it is not easy, but “if you believe” than you will get there, or even be there without realising.
You wrote that Frair Park ‘was a cinch really and what this place has done is to enhance my life no end’. That started in 1969 when you had said "Then I will just buy my own park" and to me that was a change which when I look back now was the main source of the George I know when I look back on your life.
So much has been created at Friar Park which has led to why I see you as mentor and inspiror. Your thoughts, your music, your words in interviews and books, mostly about ‘the meaning of life’.
The beauty of nature at Friar Park inspired you to lead that spiritual life and also to create the art of music you have given us to enjoy and learn from.
I remember a story from I believe Jim Keltner, that he would be at Friar Park for recordings and you would give him tea and then go to the gardens and stay there for hours whilst the musicians were just waiting..which they did LOL… and you then would come in again and say “ok, let’s do it” and funny enough, I realised today that so many times I have done sortlike things, or when I am in my own little version of Friar Park, I will walk in the garden and breath the smell of trees and enjoy the beauty of flowers, nature in general and listen to the concert of birds and then walk back in again because I found the solution or the route which I would need at that moment.
Beings inspired by nature and spirituality.
People find that funny but we know better hey George
I am sure without that inspiration you gave me, I would not have done it like that and would not have created many thoughts and solutions to issues of different kind.
So today I think of those things I learned from and via you which are so valuable every day.

George,
Although I never knew you personally, I've always had the deepest respect for you. You brought fun and art and life into this world - to wit, your nuturing side in gardening. You, who have influenced countless people and who has made this world a better place. Your humility has indeed made you special; your dedication to your beliefs have set a good example.
My church uses your music for many functions, e.g. the Tuesday Night Prayer Group and the sister parish on Monday nights uses your music for their meetings as well. You, who were so self-deprecating and once referred to yourself as an "economy class Beatle." George, you were NEVER economy class - you were always First Class!
The first song I learned to play was a Beatle cover you made your own - "I'm Happy Just to Dance With You." My personal favorite Beatle song that you wrote is "I Want to Tell You." That song is the one I can most identify with. I want to thank you.
Someone I know who has Asperger's Syndrome used to let you "talk" for her. At one time she used to play her George albums (pre-CDs) in order and a more dedicated, enthusiastic and well versed George fan would be hard to find. George, you gave so much. God/Krishna bless you.
And I want to say thank you.

Hi George. I've got nothing to say except "thank you", man. That's all. Thanks for everything. You know all the rest.

Miss you and love you George. I can't believe it is four years already. I think of you all the time and sometimes I forget that you aren't 'here' anymore, because through your words and music you still are. But every now and then, when I hear your music or see your image, it comes back to me and I miss you all the more. Thank you for all you have given me George, you have been an important part of my life, and you always will be. Love you lots xxx

George today I don't only remember your music I remember your personality.
Firstly, your love for the Indian culture.
Secondly, for your spirituality (something I do not have)
Thirdly, for your friendships you have made, and your selflessness
Fourthly, for your sense of humour
Lastly, for you your wonderful contributions you have made to the entire world
We All Love You George

What's there to add? A truly peaceful, noble spirit whos energy lives on in every piece of music he created.
I love you George. Can't wait to meet you in the next life!
I can only imagine the hilarity that's going on up there - no doubt George and Graham Chapman are pulling no end of funny little pranks and jokes on John!

Peace be with you always, George. There is a Yaqui song that I'm very fond of:
Kialem vata hiwemai
chukula hubwa teune teunevu.
First you just look,
later you will find, find.
I you have found what you were looking for.
