So wrong. So funny.
OK, so has anyone seen the Paul thing on The Onion today?
http://www.theonion.com/video/excite...aul-mcc,18590/
I know what tomorrow is, and if you don't know how I feel about Paul, you haven't been paying attention. But I see this as The Onion making fun of the news media, not making light of unthinkable tragedy. And I think it's spot-on.

I think it is sick. As for that woman saying she planned to cry and cry, that just made one wonder if she wanted an excuse to do this. Sounds weird to me.
I don't think this is funny - frankly I find it sick and macabre.

Since when had death been a funny thing?
Some people are incredibly insensitive...

Oh dear. You are familiar with The Onion, right? As I said, it's not making fun of Paul or his fans, but of the celebrity media and their cluelessness/tastelessness.

Afraid not, but thank you for clearing that up.
I've had a death recently, so that might be why I felt so disgusted by this.
But I must agree with you on the celebrity media.

I love The Onion... some people really take it seriously, and I think that makes the irony even funnier. I don't think it's all that bad - maybe in poor taste so close to the anniversary of John Lennon's death. But I love everything The Onion does! Thanks for sharing!!!

Very cringe-worthy... but very funny! As a devoted fan of both McCartney and Lennon (I think they were inspired by the press's coverage of the 30th anniversary of John's murder), I appreciated the satire. Thanks for posting this!

I might have thought this was funny (in a slightly tasteless way) if it hadn't been for the timing, but the fact that they put it out this week kind of bothers me. I do agree that it's hilarious when people take the Onion seriously though!

My husband love the onion and is forever reading bits of it out to me but I think the reason he refrained from sharing this with me is that he would have known I would have been horrified.

Just to for the record: I hope you are not referring to my message. I wasn't the one who posted the message.
I found the whole story absolutely disgusting. I can't understand how someone can come up with such a sick idea...
Please, don't think that I was the one who posted the story
