Default The songs they gave away survivor. Beatles years.

Our group of Beatlelinkers find themselves in a yet unknown part of the musical Beatle valley. So many great unknown Beatles tunes.

I'll Be On My Way
(Beatles version on Live at the BBC, done by Billy J. Kramer)

Bad To Me (Beatles version on Acetates, Anthology plus, The Alternate vers. volume 1 and other boots, done by Billy J. Kramer)

Tip Of My Tongue (Don't know about a Beatles version, done by Tommy Quickly)

Hello Little Girl
(Beatle version on Anthology 1, as well as on bootlegs, done by Gerry and the Pacemakers and the Fourmost)

Love Of The Loved
(Beatle version on Anthology plus as well as on decca bootlegs, done by Cilla Black)

I'll Keep You Satisfied
(Beatle version? Done by Billy J. Kramer)

I'm In Love
(Beatle version on the alternate version volume 1 as well as many other boots I'm sure, done by The Fourmost)

World Without Love
(Don't know about a Beatles version, done by Peter and Gordon)

One And One is Two
(Beatles version on Acetates and copied on other boots like Alternate vers. volume 1, done by Mike Shanon)

Nobody I Know
(Happens to know about a Beatles version of this? done by Peter and Gordon

Like Dreamers Do
(Beatles version on Anthology 1, done by The Applejacks, says here)

It's For You
(No Beatles version I believe, done by Cilla Black)

I Don't Want To See You Again
(Peter and Gordon, again no Beatle version)

From A Window
(Billy J. Kramer, again haven't heard or heard of a Beatle version)

That Means A Lot
(Beatle version on Anthology 2 and more obscure versions on bootlegs, by P.J. Proby I read here, page 2)

Woman
(Not the John Lennon song but written by Paul under the name Bernard Webb for Peter and Gordon, version by Peter and Gordon on the Beatles boot. Unheard Melodies the songs they gave away)

Step Inside Love
(A beatles version can be found on Anthology 3, done by Cilla Black)

Sour Milk Sea
(George's demo is on different Kinfauns bootleg mine's called "Unplugged", done by Jacky Lomax. Also by dutch legend Herman Brood but let's not get into that, thanks FPSHOT for that version)

Badge
(George for Eric, Only know the Cream version)

Goodbye
(Paul demo for Mary Hopkin. Pauls demo can be found on Acetates, Alternate versions volume 2 and Anthology plus, most likely on others bootlegs to.)

Penina
(A Paul song done by Jotta herre, says here and Carlos Mendes. All versions are on Unheard Melodies)

Come and Get It
(Pauls demo is with the best sound quality on Anthology 3, done by Badfinger)

Apart from the above mentioned bootlegs and oficial releases are the songs are on The Unheard Melodies double set I also mentioned.

If I forgot a song the Beatles had written and gave away to someone else please say so asap. This will run till Monday around the same time, I'll let it run longer when not many people have replied. So take your least favourite song from the list and lets find out what the best song is, the one the Beatles really should have kept for themselves!

The song I vote off is one of the songs I never have heard "Tip Of My Tongue".

Paul wrote "Thingumybob", and produced it, that's right.

As one and one makes three votes against the song it gets the boot, so does Penina.
For completeness sake I added the two songs Tim mentioned, but isn't Catscall just a little dity they played early on and sometime later it was done by Chris Barber thus not really a song they gave away. And Thingumybob, I thought that Paul just produced that single but that he had not written it, not sure tho.

Catscall(Chris Barber 1966)
Thingumybob(John Foster And Sons' Black Dyke Mills Band 1968)

Come and Get It

I'll go vote off Tip Of My Tongue

You're right about "Catcall" but I think Paul did write "Thingymubob."
