Default Oh boy. Fly, you may want to hold on to something...

Well, this was found on a Tumblr page by yours truly. I'm not sure of the original source, but I wouldn't be too shocked if it was in fact Jules' FB page since I have read similar on there from him. I have no words...so you all can tell me:

Oh Julian!!! Come on.

Julian Lennon just needs to continue posting the little self-help icons and passages and never 'speak' EVER on his Facebook page. Just when I think I may be turning a little and appreciating him more, he types up something like this and I am once again reminded of what a brat he can be. Julian, just put on a nice dress shirt and post photos of yourself instead. You are such an ornery littllittle sh**.

Yes, I am smh at Julian over that comment. It was a little rude. Especially to a fan who gave him a smilie. I don't know what to think anymore with his mood swings.

I'm a history buff and a Broadway musical buff. There exists a Broadway musical about the writing and signing (AND singing!) the US Declaration of Independence. There's a musical number in it where the guys in Congress have had it with John Adams running around, being John Adams and pushing for Independence, and they all sing

Sit down, John
Sit down, John
For Gods Sake John, sit down!!

Enough backstory so you can follow what actually comes to mind when I read about Julian's latest rant--paraphrased from the same musical number:

Julian, you're a bore!
We've heard this before!
For Gods Sake Julian
SHUT UP!

Default Get over it!

It's a 'sad' fact that kids tend to look like or sound like and sometimes even - horrors - have talents like their parents, some more so than others. It's normal to hate looking like or being like your dad (or mom) but MOST of us get over it by the time we're twenty!

He certainly inherited his father's temperament more than anything else, that's for sure!

It seems to me you have an issue with John. This is the second time you've referred to one of his sons inheriting his temper. The prior time you said it was Sean inheriting John's "crabby" temper.

Dylan_93, whatever your reservations about John, he was often considered the kindest and most approachable of all four Beatles, as well as incredibly generous and friendly to his fans. There have been thousands of encounters published of how John treated his fans, and there are probably 1 to every 100 of any abruptness or rudeness, if at all.

Now, John wasn't perfect and neither were George, Paul, or Ringo. Julian is nearly 50 years old and getting snippy over stupid stuff with his fans. I love Julian tremendously because he is a talented and sweet guy in general (funny, you probably won't see Dylan_93 attributing any of that to John), but this kind of nonsense is pitiful on his part. He has some mood swings, yes. But the way he handles people is quite a bit different from the way John handled people- and there was a HECK of a lot more humor involved.

Julian reminds me of an acquaintence of mine - so kind and funny and engaging about 85% of the time. But he Can. Not. Take. Criticism. Even of the mildest form. Even when (like mentioning he sounds like John) it's NOT even really criticism (hell, sounding like John is a compliment!), it's just something he doesn't want to hear.

This is 100% true in every way. Kind of sad that he's like that. I hope when I'm his age I can take a joke and laugh at myself even more than I do right now.

Default OMG I thought this story was about Julian!

Man, I was SCARED! I read this story on the BBC and I thought they were talking about JULIAN!

Quote:
"...Police said he had been detained and taken to a medical facility.

he.... had been hospitalised on Thursday "suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition".

..."Officers responded to a radio call to check the welfare of an individual who was said to be running in the street, interfering with traffic, screaming..."
Thank goodness it wasn't our dear Julian!

I hope that it never comes to that.

Plus, it couldn't have been him because no computer was mentioned on the scene.
