This. Come on, it's SO true. John never embarrassed himself to that level.

Default The Short Crop Lennon

I didn't know a better way to title it, but this look is one of my FAVES. This is a Lost Weekend look for certain:

But WHEN was this pic taken, Lennonist historians?

I feel like it was before/after the LW. And if so, John rocked the short crop more than a few times in his life. I approve. Absolute GORGEOUSNESS.

That last picture? The Greeting Committee? Well obviously the Dakota Co-op board must have rooked him into serving on the official Dakota Greeting Committee. You know, to make new owners there feel welcome. Odd, he never seemed the type that goes to every meeting of his co-op Board.

Oh, I make myself laugh, I do--if you worked in Homeowner Association Management, as I do, you would laugh too. But I think I'm probably the only one amused...

John on the Excer-cycle is just too funny. These pictures are great. The short haircut's ok, but I prefer it a bit longer.

Yeah, I love John's look during his lost weekend

One thing I never understood: John looked happy and quite healthy IMHO, despite his heavy drinking After his return to Yoko he looked much thinner (and older too ).

Ah, the muttonchops.

I give him points for his braveness in resurrecting this look and sort of making it his own.

John was never boring, that's for sure.

Exactly!

John really rocked his sideburns (aka 'sideboards', aka 'Ono sideboards')... I believe he was so attached to them because of Elvis.

BTW ~ I was watching the video of Paul getting his Star in Hollywood today (I am soooooooooooo upset I couldn't go! Too many damn meetings!). Anyway, he looked pretty rock & roll himself with his sideburns:
