Barbarella
Hilariously awesome and very 60's. They have plans to remake it and I actually got really excited. I had seen it before, but didn't remember much of it at all. Now that I've watched it again, I really hope they don't. Or they have to make a shot for shot remake, and if they did that it would probably bomb the box office.

Please don't remake Barbarella, Hollywood. Even if it's going star one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.

Stop with the remakes period.

A Midsummer's Night Dream with Kevin Kline, Michelle Pfeiffer, Calista Flockhart, Christian Bale, etc.

Very good Shakespeare flick!

I saw "Zombieland" last week and thought it was very clever, funny, and entertaining! I'd recommend it even to those people who don't like gory zombie movies (which I do, btw, and I've seen a lot of 'em)!

Besides, there's a "star cameo" in the movie that's just priceless and worth the price of admission alone!!

I watched "Imagine: John Lennon" on DVD last night, and am going to see "Inglorious Basterds" in a few hours.

I really cannot wait to see "Paranormal Activity" (probably next week) because I've heard it is absolutely terrifying. It's been too long since I've been terrified by a movie. I think I'm getting jaded by what tries to pass as a "scary movie" these days.

But "Paranormal Activity" looks promising!

Taken w/Liam Neisen, suspense and predictable unfortunately!

Jeff Dunham's last Christmas special, pretty funny and blunt on many social issues!

Wow. The entire audience I saw it with (males and females, ranging in age from 16 to late 40s or so) were screaming and jumping out of their seats at various points in the movie (especially the last scene!). In fact, I'd say the audience reaction was more..."intense" than I've seen at any scary movie screening since maybe "Jaws" back in 1975!!

Do you even like scary movies??

I had the day off from work yesterday, so I saw many movies over my three-day weekend. Some highlights:

Sneakers - I dug this one when it first came out; it wasn't as good as I remembered, but was still pretty interesting.

Vantage Point - much better than its reviews lead one to believe

Escape from the Planet of the Apes - has not aged well

Wall-E - my favorite of all I watched this weekend; I'm considering buying myself a copy.
