Happy birthday John!
Roses are red,
Freesias are blue,
The thoughts in my head,
“Revolver” only around you.
Today would have been your 70th birthday,
So, come on, let’s dance,
Or maybe you’d rather say “hip hip hooray’ in your own special way,
And encourage eveyone to “Give Peace A Chance”!

Happy birthday John and Sean!
"Sometimes I just feel am I actually on the wrong planet you know.
And I feel great when I'm in my garden, but the moment I go out the gate
I think 'what the hell am I doing here?'"

On Saturday night Yoko Ono and her son Sean Ono Lennon celebrated the 70th birthday of John Lennon and the 35th birthday of Sean by giving a concert with their revived
Plastic Ono Band
in Háskólabíó Reykjavík. A crowd of over 1.000 people watched the 77 year old artist run around the stage, singing in her very special way, songs that almost nobody in the crowd knew, mostly songs by Yoko Ono.
In the end the mother and son were joined by a number of guests, including Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr and George Harrison’s widow Olivia and son Dhani Harrison all singing
Give Peace a Chance
"Everyone should have themselves regularly overwhelmed by Nature"
- George Harrison
