taxgirl and I saw it twice in the 70's when it was just released, at the cinema theatre with the largest and best screne which was awesome

I sure will see this i-Tunes thing.

Here is the long version of Wah Wah which was not totally included on the first LP and film, it's mainly the brass part.

Do you mean the actual vinyl boxset or the CD re-issue from a couple of years ago?

:confused1:

Haven't watched the concert in a long time 'cuz I only have it on VHS (!!).... sooo happy it's on iTunes. I have it on right now. Love Ravi telling the audience to refrain from smoking during his piece... ...guess he wanted them clear-headed. (Good luck, Ravi... it was 1971, after all.)

Amazing performances. How electric was it when Dylan came on? And Ringo singing It Don't Come Easy? And Billy ... and Leon and... ah, what a show!

Three cheers for iTunes!

You've just got to love Ravi - I just wish George had been able to kick the nicotine addiction. Those damn coffin nails cost Harold Sr. AND George their lives.

I think George sounded much better on "It Don't Com Easy" than Ringo ever did, even though the song is associated with Ringo. I think George sounded better on it.

What an INCREDIBLE show!

I cry when I read that quote now from George when he and the Beatles first came back from India and he talked of a potential Yogi still alive who was born the same year as Jesus and how he felt he added years to his life by his Eastern practices. He didn't add enough years to his life, sadly and it saddens me.
He brought so much to my life.

George brought so much to my life as well. I didn't know him personally, but I love him.

George was, as I've said before, all about love. In fact, his parting directive was "love one another." How can you not love George?

Harold Sr. and George's sister Lou attended the concert. George was so well loved from the moment of his very conception that it is radiated into his music.
