I would say the rarest Beatle item I own is an original 45 of "She Loves You" on the Swan label. I do own all of the officially released album from America, plus imports from England, Germany, Japan, Canada, Holland and Italy.
Something else that is very rare these days is 8-Track tapes. If I'm not mistaken, I have 6 of these, which include Sgt. Pepper, The Beatles (White Album) and Beatles '65. And yes, they still play.

The first LP you have sounds like Walls & Bridges.
The Love Me To LP sounds to be a bootleg.
The rarities I have are a few of the picture sleeves and some VeeJay records(PPM/FMTY 45,the EP,Songs Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles).

Crikey, where do I begin...

-A UK copy of Please Please Me with the gold type label (Muchos rarios)
-Every original UK album
-Every original UK single
-Red and Blue albums on coloured vinyl
-A 2nd state butcher cover
-2 MONO white albums

I have the MONO gold on black Please Please Me. The stereo is 10 times rarer, and is worth $2,000. The MONO os worth $550. My personaly copy is a bit grotty and is worth about $160.

And I made a little mistake regarding my butcher cover (Which I got on Tuesday) It's a 3rd state, and not a 2nd state.

Well, let's see. My Beatles LPs are all reissues from the 80s. But my solo LPs are all original, so I think there are a few rare things in there. Wait, I don't have Paul's 'Thrillington.' Apart from the bootlegs, I only have a few other original/rare things. I do have a butcher album, but it looks like a 2 year old kid did the peeling. I have a few original 45s, like "Help/I'm Down" and maybe one other. I also have an Apple "Get Back/Don't Let Me Down" 45 that was signed by Billy Preston. That's pretty cool actually, because it says "The Beatles With Billy Preston" on the 45, and he signed right next to that. I think that's the only time their recordings weren't credited to just "The Beatles." Anyway, that's all I can think of right now.

Well, In England, they produced MONO albums right up to Yellow Submarine, but because the MONO version sold very dismally, they scrapped the foprmat and produced Abbey Road and Let it Be in stereo only (Apart from the 8 track cassettes that were released) MONO white albums also sold very dismally, and so in good condition can be worth anything up to 175-200, which is about $300-$350. I got my first MONO from a record shop, which set me back 90. (The biggest price I've ever paid for a record) Then, a fortnight later, a local dealer I know called Terry showed me an original White album he had, which also turned out to be MONO, and, not wishing to miss out on a good deal (It was better condition than the last one I bought, and was 40 cheaper) I bought that too.

There are a ton of differences between the mono and stereo White Albums. Some are just little things like different mixes, but others are pretty major like longer songs, different tracks, etc. It's definitely worth having. I have a double bootleg CD of the mono version. It's not really a bootleg I guess, but where else are you going to get a perfect sounding mono copy of the LP?

I just wondered, even though it's not really rare or anything I guess, but could the 30th anniversary limited edition release of the White Album be worth much? In a hundred years maybe? If so, then I take it it'd be worth getting.

It's pretty nice, really, if you can still find one. Miles better than any other Beatles packaging, for sure!

Aha, ic... well I've found 2 actually! There's 2 left in one of the CD stores near me, so maybe I'll grab em both. I picked up a lot of interview CD's the other day too, those 'The Beatles Inside Interviews' and 'The Beatles In Their Own Words: A Rockumentary' ones, if anyone's ever seen or got them.

I'm so excited! Today, we bought the "Can't Buy Me Love" 45 and picture sleeve! It's in mint condition....it's the rarest picture sleeve. Next to the Butcher cover, probably the most valuable commercial release. My next big purchase will be the Butcher cover. Yay!!!
