Well, Paul and John look totally stoned to me. Something more along the lines of:
Paul: Oh s**t, I'm almost done with this Fudgesicle. Where's Mal to fetch me another one? No, maybe he should deck us up a bifta (roll us a joint)... 
John: I forgot me glasses again... is that a bird or a bloke coming to talk to me? Hope there's roast beef for dinner.
