I've heard this was the 3rd biggest crowd ever.
Only Rod Stewart and Rolling Stones had a bigger crowd in Rio.

I stand corrected. Even so, Paul is still the Musical Ambassador of Good Will!

This gig actually made the news here in France. Possibly because of all the rain. It was funny seeing all of those people with their umbrellas in the crowd.
Poor people. I don't feel that sorry for them! They got to see a great concert!!

A crowd pleaser would have been, "Good Day Sunshine"

But yeah we got to see the show and that made up for it all.

Yeah it certainly was! I had never seen him do that live before - well not in person. I think he did is on the Us tour and that never came to the UK. Perhaps he performed it on the Euro 04 tour but I am sure I had never seen him do it before. So yeah. This crowd member was pleased!

OMG!! Our "Skin was soaked through to the skin"!!
It was all worth it in the end....we even started discussing where we will be tempted to go when he tours!!

Yeah the whole set list was impressive, but Good Day Sunshine was fab, with all the rain! Paul did say Good day Sunshine "like today"!!!! As the clouds continued to rain on us all!

To see a live performance by Paul McCartney is ALWAYS worth it.
Do you have a song/set list?
