Macca's Post Beatle Work Debuts on Rock Band
I'm not sure how many of you guys have Rock Band 2 but the heavily rumored feature DLC for Tuesday 1/5/09 is a three pack of songs from Paul at Citi Field!
Paul McCartney: New York City Pack 01 will consist of "Band on the Run (live)," "Jet (live)," and "Sing the Changes (live)." Each song will be available individually for 160 Microsoft Points / 200 Wii Points / $1.99 or PS3 & xBox 360 players can purchase the three pack for 440 Microsoft Points / $5.49.
Again, this is just a rumor but a very exciting one for those of us who've been waiting to play solo Beatle work on a rhythm game. An official announcement should come out this time next week.
(Just a reminder: This DLC will NOT be available for use with The Beatles: Rock Band. The DLC for TB:RB and RB2 are not cross-compatible.)

It just goes to show you that Paul will always be a Beatle.

They could market it as "The Beatles: The virtual reunion".

That would be really neat if that goes through. Although I'd like the originals first if it were me deciding

I'm really having a hard time understanding these comments. Does this stem from the headline of my original post? If so, let me clarify why I used those words: "Band on the Run" and "Jet" are Wings songs and "Sing the Changes" is a song from Paul's The Fireman project. All three of these tracks are versions from Paul's Good Evening New York City album/DVD.
Since these tracks are not all coming from one phase of Paul's career, yet they are all from his post-Beatles career, I figured I'd label the headline as such. I'm sorry if that was a no-no
Edit: By the way, these tracks are confirmed and will be available for xBox & Wii on Jan 5 and on PS3 on Jan 7.
